Anderson County Schools Preschool is seeking an assistant for our Employee Child Care program at our Claxton Elementary School location. Employee Child Care TAs assist the lead teacher in the instruction and care of children ages 6 weeks to 3 years. Day-to-day activities are designed to promote developmentally appropriate social interactions and physical and cognitive growth. Classrooms are set up with one lead teacher and four assistants, caring for a maximum of 16 infants and/or toddlers.

Candidates must be at least 21 years of age. A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required, and experience working with small children is preferred.

This position is 196 days per year. The hours are 11:00 am-4:30 pm, M-F.

ECC employees are paid on the Anderson County Schools' Educational Assistants pay scale.
