Anderson County Schools Preschool is looking for an interim EHS teacher to follow the direction of the lead teacher, assist with classroom operations, and provide continuity of care for 8 infants/toddlers (6 weeks- 3 years of age) in a fun, safe and healthy environment while also providing opportunities for development in the areas of: language, social/emotional development, physical, and cognitive development.

 

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

 

A minimum of an Childhood Development Associate Credential with an infant/toddler focus is required.

 

Classroom experience preferred.

 

Spanish speaking desired, not required.

 

Full time position for 210 days per year at 8 hours per day. (8AM-4PM)

 

Pay is based on the ACS Educational Assistants pay scale with applicable supplements. For example, a candidate without any formal experience, holding a CDA credential, would start at $13.66/hr.

 

Base pay may be increased for experience that can be verified and if the candidate holds an advanced credential such as an associate or bachelors degree.
