Anderson County Schools Preschool is looking for an interim infant/toddler teacher assistant to assist with our Employee Child Care program. ECC TAs assist the lead teacher in the instruction and care of children ages 6 weeks-3 years. Day-to-day activities promote developmentally appropriate social interactions and physical and cognitive growth. Classrooms are set up with one lead teacher and four assistants, caring for, at a maximum, of 16 infants and/or toddlers.

 

This position is at our Andersonville Elementary location.

 

Candidates must be at least 21 years of age. A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required and experience working with small children is preferred.

 

This position is 199 days per year. The hours are 7am-3pm, M-F.

 

This position qualifies for all benefits offered to classified employees within the school district.

 

ECC employees are paid on the Anderson County Schools' Educational Assistants pay scale.
