Anderson County Schools Preschool is looking for a teacher's assistant for our Lake City location. Teacher assistants aid the classroom teacher in the instruction and care of preschool children, ages 3-5 years, while guiding them in activities to promote social interaction, physical movement, and intellectual growth.

 

Candidates must be at least 21 years of age.

 

Candidates must have a minimum of a high school diploma for hire and be willing to work towards and obtain a CDA credential within 2 years of hire or enroll in a qualifying associate or baccalaureate degree program while employed.

Full-time position for 192 days per year at 7.5 hours per day, 7:30 am-3 pm.

 

Pay is based on the Anderson County Schools' educational assistant pay scale with applicable educational supplements. 

Starting rates may be increased for formal, verifiable work experience.
